Find Friends Who Lift up Your Spirits

Ask yourself: do the friends that you associate force you to become your better self. If not, you need to reconsider, and be more selective choosing your friends. Real friends will be real with you, and genuine in a sense to create you into the better you that you are destined to become. Be selective with your friends like when you are plucking at flower petals. You wouldn't pick the petals that are shriveled, you will pick the flower petals that are blooming like the golden sun in golden hour. Honestly, if the friends you associate with aren't people that will stimulate your growth, and have a future focused mentality. Then you need to become aware of this, because holding onto a friendship that will stunt your growth. It will only hinder your progress, and it will have you reverting back to pieces of your old self. In life there are numerous levels that we have to keep building on top of each other. This is why it's important to find friends who lift up your spirits, and not kill your virtual spirit. In between every level that is conducted along the way friends will try to strangulate you from attaining your greatness. However, being revealed to greatness only occurs when you find friends that boost your spirit. It's your choice, whether you want to continue to be dragged along by platonic friendships, or if you want to rise your dreams towards the heavens.

I've experienced, and learned this all too well. When I grew up in my hometown that revolves around partying and drinking for everyone around my age in their twenties. The reason, I wrote this blog was for the sole purpose of stating the fact, you need to realize there's more to life than just partying every weekend, and attending the same two erroneous bars. The truth is who you spend the majority of your time with is who you will transform, and transcend into. I knew this all too well when I finally decided to escape this lifestyle deciding to place all my time and energy on my goals and my passions. Unfortunately, this lifestyle did have me lose some friends along that road; however along this road I found one thing: my love for writing. If only, I could have came to this realization earlier, and rationalized these thoughts. But we all live and learn, and because of this I gained some clarity on where I wanted my future to lead me. And I knew for a fact, if I wanted my future to lead me to rise up on the rising waters. It would be excruciating and painful, but I knew the struggles would be worth the dime. I still remember vividly when I would party with my friends every weekend thinking that would provide with a life of fulfillment. But the true fulfillment in life comes from finding friends who lift up your spirits through the hardships, heart aches, and the uncertainty of the future!! The future is in the palm of you hands, so work hard and attract those friends that uplift your spirits to unleash your infinite potential!!
